March skies. March brings a lot of wind to the eastern Sierra but the reward for enduring the windy days are the incredible skies. Sierra waves, breathtaking sunsets, amazing light.
This is pretty great. Chipotle is taking the vinyl from its billboard ads and recycling it into fancy lunch bags.

5Been watching a lot of Buck Branaman, and reading Bill Dorrance and Pat Parelli. Taking notes, drawing diagrams and sketches. Doing more arena riding but I think today could be a trail ride day - we all need to just get out and relax. The weather has been typical spring meaning wind, wildly fluctuating temperatures, and rain but none of that seems to phase my mare. She’s coming into her fifth year with such a calm, willing attitude. She can be a little mouthy and that concerns me just a little but if she actually made a move to bite I’d be all over her. And she can move - I just want to become the rider she deserves. Thankfully I have good people around to work and ride with - I’d love to clinic more often but until then I have DVDs, books and friends to learn from.
